Alice was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2000 and grew up in Cheshire. She studied History at the University of Bristol before completing two years on the Painting Course at Leith School of Art 2021 - 2023, taught by Scottish artists Catherine Davidson and Andrew MacKenzie. She is currently a scholarship student on the two year Advanced Painting course at the Essential School of Painting, London.
Alice is currently painting memories of nights out and about with friends; the good, the bad and everything in between. She makes charcoal drawings to focus on shape and perspective, but ultimately colour is of great importance to her and she takes inspiration from artists such as Sandy Moffat, Alice Neel and Paula Rego among others.
