Benedict Doonan

Benedict is a realist painter based in Somerset. His landscape paintings feature manmade structures such as lifeguard towers and boats. He also finds inspiration from the light he has observed in the South of France, often painting derelict houses and farm buildings. Focusing on light and shadow, Benedict aims to create a heightened sense of reality.
